Carbon VS. ceramic?

There are many different window films out in the wild, but the 2 main films are a Carbon film, and a Ceramic Film. Both are fantastic films and offer a lifetime warranty against fading, discoloration, peeling, bubbling, or any defect from the manufacture. However Ceramic film is a more higher end film that offers “infrared heat” reduction, which blocks the radiant heat that you feel on your skin.

Dyed Metal film

Dyed metal film is one of the first films that started in the industry. This film is commonly seen on older vehicles, it’s purple, faded, hazy, and/or the back window is usually full of bubbles. We strongly recommend having it removed because it can be a safety hazard for drivers that don’t have clear visibility. The install at the time was probably flawless, but over time UV Damage has taken its toll and has started to separate the layers of the film. Dyed metal film only carries a 5 year warranty.

Every project we complete includes our lifetime warranty. Vinyl wrapping, window tinting, graphics etc. We want you to be 100% happy with any service we offer. If for any reason you are not happy with any service we do, we want you to let us know so that we can fix it and make it right! We have a passion for all of our services, but we are human and sometimes make mistakes.

Removing window film

We all love to be “do it yourselfers” but removing film takes skill, and the right tools. Some people like to try it on their own but that can lead to having to pay more money than if we were to do it when you bring it to us, sometimes with all of the glue exposed costing you double what it would cost if you just had us take care of it. Window tinters can remove a full vehicle tint in about 30-45 min. Some tint is not able to be removed very easily and can take awhile to do. We strongly recommend to just leave it to the professionals.

Window tinting for your home or business has so many benefits. We can match decor, and style of your choice. Window films can block up to 75% of the heat coming into your home or business and 99% of UV is blocked as well with any film we install. Help with excess ware and tear on your HVAC system, and keep your floors, carpets, drapes, and anything else the sun touches safe from damaging UV.

How to clean windows with tint on them?

Always use a product that is ammonia free. We always recommend using an alcohol based product. The less chemicals the better. Alcohol is best because it is clean, sterile , and provides a streak free clean window. We recommend 70% rubbing alcohol. Costco has great pricing on a 2 pack, no need to dilute just use it straight out of the bottle. Also always use a clean microfiber cloth to prevent scratches and damage. Costco also has great microfibers, always in stock!

What is window film made of?

Almost every window film available is made of the same few products. Every film includes multiple layers of polyester laminated together. The more layers, the darker the film. They also include particles of Carbon & Ceramic into the lamination. These are the elements that help reduce and eliminate heat coming through your windows.
